Castik Capital acquires majority stake in WATR Group

Castik Capital, a European private equity company, has acquired a majority stake in WATR Group, a market leader in ground water management and purification.

WATR Group represents five companies that have combined forces in the field of water infrastructure, evolving into a group of water management specialists in the Netherlands and Germany. Focusing on dewatering and groundwater management, mobile water purification, temporary pump installations and related ground protection products, WATR Group is a key link in infrastructure construction projects. 

Houthoff advised Castik Capital in the acquisition. The team, led by Alexander Kaarls, included Erik Teijgeler, Josephine de Bok, Anne Steinbusch, Sophie de Kock van Leeuwen, Stijn de Heer and Jasper van der Kooij.
