Daniël specialises in cross-border M&A transactions, including company acquisitions, joint ventures and other collaborations. He acts for both private equity and strategic parties. Daniël also has extensive experience in corporate governance related matters and has published various articles on this topic.

Daniël was seconded to our New York office from 2022 to 2024.

  • Advised, together with Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu, Yamaha Corporation on the acquisition of all shares in the capital of Cordoba Music Group, LLC.
  • Advised Ariston Holding N.V on the acquisition of CENTROTEC Climate Systems GmbH.
  • Advised Frazier Lifesciences Acquisition Corporation (SPAC), together with Goodwin Procter LLP, on its intended business combination with NewAmsterdam Pharma and listing of the combined entity on Nasdaq.
  • Represented Agilitas Private Equity Services Limited in the acquisition of TenCate Advanced Armour Holding B.V., the global leading manufacturer of lightweight survivability solutions.
  • Advised Yarden, one of the largest funeral service providers in the Netherlands, and its two shareholders (the Vereniging Yarden and the Stichting Yarden) in the sale of Yarden to DELA.
  • Advised Albert Westerman Groep B.V. and the management of State of Art on the sale of a majority stake in State of Art to Quadrum Capital. State of Art, with a rich history dating back to 1936, is headquartered in Lichtenvoorde. The company has 40 retail stores and more than 600 official dealers.

     


  • Assisted Twence, a waste processing company that produces energy, in the acquisition of Empyro. The Empyro plant produces pyrolysis oil, green steam and electricity from biomass by polygeneration.
