Companies are facing many challenges as the government is constantly working on new sustainability legislation. One example is the Decree Implementing the Sustainability Reporting Directive (Implementatiebesluit richtlijn duurzaamheidsrapportering), which transposes the EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) into Dutch law. The CSRD must be implemented by 6 July 2024. Houthoff contributed to the consultations that were held on this Decree.
