The manufacturing industry is awash with new technologies and new markets. This shift offers countless opportunities for investment and growth. Houthoff's Manufacturing Team is very familiar with the complexity of the manufacturing industry. Our specialists know what changes are taking place, like the continuous fluctuation in commodity prices, tighter social regulations and increasing requirements relating to sustainable business practices. This knowledge enables Houthoff to offer its clients future-proof solutions. As a strategic sparring partner and adviser, the Manufacturing Team assists manufacturers, chemical companies and industrials.

Our expertise in the manufacturing sector

We are seeing more and more mergers between chemical companies, in a bid to remain competitive. They are familiar with Houthoff's extensive international M&A expertise and engage our specialists for assistance and advice. When environmental due diligence services are also required, our Manufacturing Team works closely with our health, safety & environment specialists.

Large manufacturers are regularly involved in damages actions relating to alleged cartel formation and often major interests are at stake. This requires practical and well-considered advice. Our experienced litigators represent large manufacturers in legal proceedings.

Our Manufacturing Team has an international focus, which is essential for the manufacturing industry. Emerging economies like Asia, Latin America and Africa, and opportunities to outsource parts of production to low-wage countries necessitate a broader perspective. Together with our specialists in environmental law, intellectual property law, product liability, outsourcing and tax matters, the Manufacturing Team helps our clients move forward.
