Michel Klijn

Michel’s work focuses on projects, public-private partnerships and construction law and procurement law, in contentious and non-contentious matters. He is actively involved in complex projects and various contracts (e.g. EPC, D&C, DBM, DBFM(O)), concessions and alliances. Michel advises various clients in the real estate, construction, infrastructure, energy and logistics sectors, on matters such as contracting, innovative procurement procedures, negotiations, litigation and arbitration. He is also a civil engineer. Prior to joining Houthoff, Michel worked at a large Dutch construction company for several years. He also teaches at the Dutch Institute of Construction Law and regularly publishes on forms construction law and procurement law. Michel is listed in Band 1 by Chambers Europe for his efforts in Real Estate: Construction.
