Elisabeth (Els) Houtman

Elisabeth (Els) Houtman has more than 30 years of experience in Marketing Communication and Business Development, including 10 years as an independent entrepreneur. She has been with Houthoff since 2008.

Els collaborates closely with the Executive Committee and the partner group, leading the Business Development, Communications, Events, and International teams at Houthoff. Together, they strive to provide Houthoff’s clients worldwide with the best legal advice. She focuses on stakeholder engagement programs and bringing themes to the market that involve cross-practice services.

Els is a member of Houthoff's Management Team and International Board. She also serves on the IBA Law Firm Management Committee - BD & Marketing Subcommittee and is a former Regional Vice Chair of the Lex Mundi Marketing and BD Committee. Lex Mundi is the world’s leading network of independent law firms. Els completed executive training programs at INSEAD (2019) and Oxford (2022 and 2023).
