Davine is a lawyer in the Restructuring & Insolvency practice group, where she regularly advises bankruptcy trustees, directors, debtors and creditors in various insolvency situations. Her experience includes proceedings under the Court Approval of a Private Composition (Prevention of Insolvency) Act (Wet homologatie onderhands akkoord, or WHOA) in multiple capacities. Additionally, Davine has previously worked in the Corporate Litigation practice group, focusing on post-acquisition disputes, shareholder conflicts and directors' liability cases, which add value to her insolvency practice.
In 2023/2024, she worked at Houthoff's London office. Davine is a member of the Dutch Association for Young Insolvency Lawyers (JIRA).

Advised the ad hoc group of creditors to the Consolis group in the successful implementation of its comprehensive recapitalization.

Advised Unigel Participações S.A. (Unigel) and certain subsidiaries on the successful completion of a cross-border restructuring involving over USD 800 million in debt. This restructuring led to new investments, bonds, convertible bonds, and Dutch depositary receipts for shares in Unigel's Dutch parent company.

Acting as the administrators appointed by the Amsterdam Court in the suspension of payment proceedings of Steinhoff International Holdings N.V. (a company listed on the Johannesburg and Frankfurt Stock Exchange), Houthoff oversaw the process leading up to the confirmation of the composition plan. This enabled Steinhoff to settle alleged claims for damages from 66,000 creditors totalling EUR 14 billion following from the group's disclosure of accounting irregularities in 2017.
