Joost den Hollander admitted as INSOL Fellow after completing Global Insolvency Practice Course

Joost den Hollander has been recognised as an INSOL Fellow after successfully completing INSOL International’s Global Insolvency Practice Course (GIPC). The GIPC is INSOL International’s pre-eminent advanced educational qualification focusing on international insolvency. Joost has graduated in the Class of 2023/2024, a distinguished group of new INSOL Fellows from around the globe.
He will officially be welcomed as new INSOL Fellow with the other new Fellows at INSOL’s annual Conference in Hong Kong in March 2025. INSOL International is a worldwide federation of national associates of attorneys and accountants who specialise in restructuring and insolvency. As INSOL Fellow, Joost is now part of a global network of respected insolvency professionals and very well-positioned to further collaborate and facilitate cross-border insolvency and restructuring matters.Specialising in insolvencies and restructurings, Joost has a particular interest in high complexity cases at the interface between insolvency law, civil law and financial regulatory law. High-profile matters included advising former Dutch bank DSB NV on the offering and implementation of a composition plan for the distribution of its remaining assets (EUR 650 million) amongst its 280.000 creditors and advising the Dutch Derivatives Committee on articulating a scheme to compensate Dutch SMEs for interest rate derivatives concluded with the six major banks in the Netherlands.
