IK Partners divests Yellow Hive to first continuation fund

IK Partners, a leading European mid-market private equity firm, has sold its portfolio company Yellow Hive. Yellow Hive is a leading Dutch insurance distribution platform with active broker and managing general agent capabilities. IK Partners closed its divestment of Yellow Hive to IK Partners' first continuation fund, IK Strategic Opportunities I.

This transaction will allow IK Partners, as well as the Yellow Hive founders and management team, to continue supporting the business over its next ownership cycle, with the benefit of fresh capital to execute on an attractive pipeline of opportunities. Houthoff previously assisted IK Small Cap II Fund on the acquisition of Yellow Hive in 2020 and was continuously involved in Yellow Hive's successful buy-and-build strategy.

Houthoff advised IK Partners on the sale of Yellow Hive. The team was headed by Bram Caudri and included Guillette van Grinsven, Esmee de Bos, Dyoerdt Alkema, Marjon Izeren, Jasmijn Harms, Siska Banus, Noah Graves, Wynand van Seters, Zinke Lansink, Gijs Hamelijnck, Romy de Galan, Nina Scholten, Bloem van 't Hoff, Myrthe Prinsze, Charlotte Jukema, Roland de Greef and Dianne Vos.
