Houthoff appoints two counsel

Houthoff will appoint two counsel on 1 July 2023: Anne Stortelder in the firm's Litigation & Arbitration practice and Joost den Hollander in Restructuring & Insolvency.

About Anne Stortelder

Anne is a lawyer at the Dutch Supreme Court and specialises in civil cassation and finance litigation. She advises and litigates both in fact-finding instances (District Courts and Courts of Appeal) and before the Dutch Supreme Court on matters including financial law, financial liability and contract law, law of security and insolvency law.

About Joost den Hollander

Joost specialises in insolvencies and restructurings. He has a wide-ranging consultancy practice and has a particular interest in high complexity cases at the interface between insolvency law, civil law and financial regulatory law. He advised DSB NV in drafting and implementing a moratorium agreement for the distribution of DSB's remaining assets (EUR 650 million) and the Derivatives Committee in creating the Uniform Interest Rate Derivatives Recovery Framework (Uniform Herstelkader Rentederivaten).
