HOUTHOFF APPOINTS FOUR COUNSEL

Houthoff has appointed four counsel with effect from 1 July 2024: Vivian van de Haterd, Nadia Nartey-Wemegah, Jurre Reus and Karien van Boekel.
About Vivian van de Haterd
Vivian specialises in private M&A transactions, focusing particularly on complex and strategic transactions and partnerships (including joint ventures). Her expertise lies in the energy and infrastructure sectors, although not exclusively so. She advises both private equity funds and strategic parties.
About Nadia Nartey-Wemegah
Nadia advises and assists financial institutions and corporate clients on a wide range of domestic and international financing transactions, including acquisition financing, general business loans and other structured financing transactions. She also advises on the purchase and sale of loan portfolios and complex national and international restructurings. Her duties comprise advising on and assisting in, as well as drafting and negotiating, financing and related documents.About Jurre Reus
Jurre's practice is at the interface of law and digital innovation. He advises and litigates on matters relating to data, privacy, consumer law, platform regulation and new technology legislation. He primarily represents clients in the automotive, IT, e-commerce, retail and financial services industries.About Karien van Boekel
Karien specialises in insolvency law and restructurings (including international restructurings). She is regularly appointed as a bankruptcy trustee by the Amsterdam District Court and is the liquidator of Lehman Brothers' Dutch division. Additionally, Karien advises directors, companies and creditors in diverse insolvency situations. In doing so, she covers the full breadth of the restructuring and insolvency fields.Written by:
