Houthoff appoints David Heems as partner

Houthoff appointed David Heems as partner as from 1 January 2021.

David started his career at Houthoff in 2009. He specialises in commercial, financial and insolvency litigation. He has extensive experience in complex disputes and is often involved in cross-border restructurings, such as OSX, Oi and Royal IHC. David is the co-chair of the International Bar Association's Reorganisation and Workouts Subcommittee. He is a lecturer on insolvency law at the University of Amsterdam and frequently lectures and publishes on a range of topics concerning insolvency litigation.
