Auction company TBAuctions acquires Dutch industry peer

International online auction platform TBAuctions Netherlands B.V. acquired its Dutch industry peer Epic-Auctions B.V. Through the acquisition, TBAuctions further builds its position in the European online auction market.
TBAuctions is the merger company of the two online auction houses BVA Auctions and Troostwijk and aims to become the largest online auction platform in Europe. Houthoff is pleased to advise on yet another add-on of TBAuctions as local counsel together with lead counsel Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. Houthoff and Skadden also acted as legal counsel in the acquisition of TBAuctions by Castik Capital in 2021.
The Houthoff team involved in the acquisition of Epic-Auctions B.V. consisted of Alexander Kaarls, Paul de Vries, Josephine de Bok, Grafton Cederburg, Cherlene Blankson, Anyke Bakker, Marijn van Horen and Noah Graves.
