Elisabeth (Els) Houtman

Elisabeth (Els) Houtman has more than 30 years of experience in Marketing Communication and Business Development, including 10 years as an independent entrepreneur. She has worked with Houthoff since 2008.

Els works closely with the Executive Committee and the partner group, and heads the Business Development, Communications, Events and International teams at Houthoff. Together, they aim to provide Houthoff's clients across the globe with the best legal advice. She focuses on stakeholder engagement programmes and bringing themes to the market that involve cross-practice groups.

Els is a member of Houthoff's Management Team and Diversity & Inclusion Committee. She is also the Regional Vice Chair of the Lex Mundi Marketing and BD Committee. Lex Mundi is the world’s leading network of independent law firms. Els completed executive training programmes at INSEAD (2019) and Oxford (2022).
