Breakfast Briefing National CO2 Tax
One of the biggest discussion points regarding the framework of the Climate Agreement is the introduction of a national CO2 tax for the largest emitters of the industry. On friday 28 June 2019, Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy Eric Wiebes presented the Cabinet's final Climate Agreement, which includes the national CO2 tax.
Houthoff is organising a Breakfast Briefing on Tuesday 2 July 2019 where we will explain the national CO2 tax instrument and identify the consequences for companies.
- What are the elements of the national CO2 tax instrument?
- What is the legislative process following the Climate Agreement?
- What does a national CO2 tax mean in practice? What must a company anticipate and what actions must a company take?
