Alongside his board role, Hans will continue his practice as litigator and trusted adviser to his clients. "We are very pleased that Hans will be joining the leadership of the firm. Hans has extensive management experience and a strong view on our firm's strategy as an independent Dutch law firm with a dedicated international focus," says Edward de Bock, Managing Partner at Houthoff. "As member of our board, Hans will continue to contribute to Houthoff and the goals we have set as a top tier law firm."
Gerhard Gispen: in memoriam
Gerhard's unexpected decease brought Houthoff much sadness and grief. The firm lost a good friend, colleague, partner and managing partner. Gerhard was a managing partner since January 2019. Edward de Bock: "We are greatly indebted to Gerhard. In a relatively short period of time, he made lasting changes to our wonderful firm with great determination and ambition. We are going to miss him for a very long time." The new board's term of office runs until 2022.
