Lucas Dröge

Lucas specialises in complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on product liability and class actions. He frequently advises on and litigates complex and media-sensitive matters related to national and international insurance and liability law, representing companies, their directors and insurers.

Lucas has developed extensive experience in commercial litigation, defending client interests in a wide range of legal disputes including contractual disputes and all aspects of product liability defence. He acts for national and international product manufacturers and clients in various industries, including construction, health and safety, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and transportation and logistics.

Lucas is counsel in our Litigation Team. He graduated with a master's degree in Dutch Civil Law from Leiden University in 2012 and participated in the one-year international 'Diploma in Legal Studies' programme at Oxford University. Lucas joined Houthoff in 2012 and was admitted to the bar in the Netherlands in that same year.

In 2015, Lucas won the Rotterdam Young Bar Association moot court competition.
